![]() Plus having a Bard, Paladin, or Druid in the party means that they can share some of the burden with you. Your heals are important but i mostly heal out of combat with a Prayer of Healing, throwing a healing word to people as needed during combat if they go down. Healing seems to be less of a direct burden on the cleric as it was in other editions. Plus your not going to bork your ability to move around the battlefield and your parties ability to be stealthy by wearing heavy armor. Being able to give an enemy disadvantage to an attack roll as a reaction is pretty nifty. More tanky without being nerfed by heavy armor. Way more options in combat, if there is no one to heal you can drop a fireball or scorching ray a enemy caster, plus the Channel Divinity nuke you get at level 3 is badass when you first get it and can easily clear an entire room. ![]() ![]() I would say that three factors favor the Light Domain in my mind.
